Jimmy Gerald Joines, age 79 of Snellville passed away, Thursday, March 14, 2024. Jimmy loved many things including fishing, hunting, gardening, animals, children, being a coach, and most of all serving others. Jimmy was a member of the Snellville Church of Christ for 40 plus years. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Mary Joines; son Brad Joines and wife Marie of Loganville; daughter Beth Joines and Wyatt Knight; sister Shirley McPherson and husband Eugene of Greenville, KY. Jimmy was preceded in death by his brothers Virgil Joines and Kenneth Joines; sister Marjorie Rhoads. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Snellville Church of Christ. Officiating will be Harold Savage. The family will receive friends one our prior to the service at the church. Interment cremation. To all the many memories we shared through out the years in Belton, Ky. All the times I spent the night in Uncle Guy’s & Aunt Truly’s home and seeing you walk up that gravel road with your dog Shep after you had been hunting or fishing.
