In loving memory of Johnny Howard Crane, 53, who left us too soon following a brief illness. Johnny was born May 7, 1970 and passed away on February 20, 2024. Johnny had a sarcastic sense of humor that would make you laugh, smile, mad or cry—if not all of the above. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. In the days leading up to his death, Johnny accepted our Lord, Jesus Christ as his savior which has given his family and friends peace during this exceedingly difficult time. Johnny is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Ann Crane, and their sons, Christopher Clack, Johnny K. Crane, Jeremy A. Crane and Evan M. Woodward; his father and stepmother, Glenn and Kathy Crane; sisters Cindy Sorrow, Amy Cates and Crystal Stephens Stone; and brother Todd Stephens, along with a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Betty Ann Crane; sisters Sondra Crane and Tiffany Stephens; grandparents, Howard and Nadine Crane; uncles, Bernard and Larry Crane; son, Mason I. Woodward and grandson, Grant M. Woodward. The family will receive 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will 3:00 pm on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Braselton Church of God of Prophecy located at 137 Ednaville Road, Braselton, Georgia. Pastor Danny Peek will be officiating.
