Larry was a great neighbor and friend. I enjoyed golfing with him and engaging in conversation. I always loved hearing about the history of the Johnson & Johnson site in Chicopee. I miss him but await in hope for the resurrection of the body.

Our hearts are sad today as we learned of Larry’s passing. We send love and sympathy to Libby and all their family members. As a colleague at Johnson & Johnson, he was a first-class scientist who solved difficult problems and prevented other problems from occurring. As a friend, he was easy going, fun, and especially talented at barbecuing. We will hold the memories we shared together close to our hearts.
i have known larry for over fifty years. our labs were on the same floor of the uga chemistry building for three years—–where we both got our doctorates in chemistry. we were fishing and golf buddies. later he arranged an interview for me with johnson&Johnson——from which we both retired. i have many good memories of our times together——and owe him a lot for bringing me into j&j. i talked to larry a few months ago where we discussed getting together just to catch up on what has been going on in our lives and remember old times—–and am now thankful that i had told him how much knowing him had meant to me. a really good guy that will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.
