M. C. Gooch

, age 66, of Braselton passed away Thursday March 10, 2016.  M. C.  loved his family and loved to work on cars and loved racing.  He liked to fish and enjoyed working everyday.  M.C. was preceded in death by his father Marvin Gooch.  He is survived by his mother Mamie Gooch; daughter Tina Campbell and husband James of Gainesville; brother Calvin Gooch and wife Carol of Braselton; sisters Doris Farr and husband Chris of Gainesville, Anita Gaddis and husband Jerry of Hoschton, Marilyn Fricks and husband Garry of Maysville, Pamela Martin and husband Larry of Dawsonville; grandson Tripp Campbell and a host of other relatives.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Everest Carlisle and Pastor Calvin Gooch will be officiating.  Pallbearers, nephews Rodney Pressley, Randy Pressley, Joseph Gaddis, Garry Fricks, Jr., Kevin Gooch, Adam Gaddis and Rowdy Farr. Interment to follow at Mercy Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday, March 11, 2016 at the funeral home.
