Michael Comell Hutch

Mr. Michael Comell Hutch, age 66 of Chimney Ridge Blairsville passed away peacefully at his home on Monday October 9, 2023 following a brief illness. Mr. Hutch was born on April 1, 1957 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of the late Comell Hutch and the late Mary Stewart. Michael was a teacher and baseball coach for many years. He enjoyed fishing, camping and coaching. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather and also loved his two dogs, Kuma and Josie. Mr. Hutch was of the Baptist faith. Surviving Mr. Hutch are his loving wife of thirty eight years, Theresa Surprenant Hutch of Winder, GA., three sons and one daughter in law, Tyler and Carly Hutch, Christian Hutch and Joshua Hutch all of Winder, one brother and sister in law, John and Jodi Hutch of Schaumburg, IL.. one sister, Marion Bernstorf of Moline, IL., two grandchildren, Baylor and Luna, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends also survive. A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be family and friends. The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm to the service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Union County Humane Society Mtn. Shelter in Michael’s memory.
