Naomi Lee Rhodes

Naomi Lee Rhodes, born on July 23rd, 1933, in Chillicothe, Ohio departed this life Tuesday, May 28th, 2024. She received Christ at a young age and always loved volunteering for her Church. She served in varies capacities including cooking and singing in the choir. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service after a fruitful career of serving. She later relocated to Georgia and became a member of Zion Full Gospel where the pastor is Bishop Gearing. She served as his nurse faithfully until she could no more. Naomi was preceded in death by her mother: Louise Rhodes; father Theodore Rhodes; sons Michael, Gregory, and Eric Flemister; daughter Diane Flemister – Morgan; brothers Charles, James, and Cecil Rhodes; sister Elizabeth. Naomi is survived by her son Daryl Hope Sr. and wife Angela of Stephen, Arkansas; daughter Deborah Flemister of Hoschton; brother Morris Rhodes of Hemet, CA.; grandchildren Alkeshia, Mychele, Sharise, Reginald, Ebony, Myrtice, Ralphael, Daryl Jr.; great grandchildren Elbie, Cherish, Gia, India, Elijah, Daniel, Major, London; and a host of other friends and relatives. A Funeral Service will be held 10:15 am Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Zion Full Gospel World Ministries (4091 Carver Drive, Doraville, GA., 30360). Interment to follow at Auburn City Cemetery.   1. I’m so sorry for your loss. I didn’t know her well but what I did know was she treated me nice. Auntie will be missed. I just wish I got to know her & the rest of the family better. She is with our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST now, so she’s good. Ya take care of each other & God Bless you. I know how you feel, I wish I STILL had my Mommy its been 11 years & it still feels like yesterday. Take care of yourselves
